Firstly, I've been create a new 'DVD-Menu' for my last project. My theme is Found. Art. because I have always look at the nature stuffs to use for film, also I have little hobbies collection on found objects in the past. But the main reason is all of my 6 projects need on common which I thought about Found Art from 'recycling' term.

Strange way to use webcam!

Funnily enough, when I had a bit of break from work then I thought I should go and have a look at other friend's blog. I know a blog called 'deareyes' which it is friend of mine from Estonian and I saw her webcam's picture like this. I should give a try and play around. I thought it was really fun to do it. For that reason why I want to show you their works because this works inspire me for my current project.

Film London in 90 Seconds: Capital Tales Project

(Oops! I haven't update my blog for a while. I apologise to my followers, the first and foremost of all.)

Well, let's say I have been working on my new project since last week, this is my second week. I must do something more and I will figure it out somehow first. However, you might be wondering what is the brief? The brief is 'the film and can be on any subject, any genre but if you need inspiration here are themes to get your creativity flowing : Hidden London, Breaking Down the Walls and Flying High.' I am not in anyway restricted to these themes/titles. So I can make anything I like.

Last week, I start to do something to make from the garden and borrow the Sony HD camera to start filming out of something I think it is inspiration.. I get my hands dirty! and get inspired! In my head is fill up with many thoughts and thinking about what I should do something that can be creative and inspiration! During one day in the weekday, i went on and filming all day to have some close up shot and far shot. Still work in progress...Please look below to see my example works so far;

The reason why I did that because I got out of the house to wandering around the garden, the first thing I saw at the garden are full of thrash cigarettes on the ground next to me. So I want to see and experiment them. Then I import the film into Final Cut Pro and editing changing like 'change speed', cut and paste and ALSO you might surprise to hear this....I editing audio sound too!! It's quite challenge for me to editing that sound to make it sound right and reasonable.

Anyone else ever met a deaf mute beggar in McDonald's

If anyone else ever met a deaf mute beggar in McDonald's, you got two options to give some money or not. Simple as that.

But, for me as a deaf person I find this bit surreal experience because I thought a deaf mute beggar could have a better life for himself. Personally, I find this quite appalling in some issues about a 'deaf mute' beggar..

  1. Why didn't he go to 'Deaf' community in UK? and he will might have a chance to get some support there.
  2. He had a family who can have some support and get in contact with other family too.
  3. When he approaching to hearing people ask them to read, I noticed that it is 'fail' way to have their kindness because of communication breakdown and too directly.
  4. Lastly, that is for sure which lots of people might felt bit intense and sympathy towards a beggar.
Deep inside me, I am frustrating with it because every other people might start looking at me after see a beggar. It was embarrassing. In somewhat, I got two options; let him some money or stand up ask him what's up with him?

But, I couldn't try. I cannot understand why i didn't do it because I think our language might be the same 'Deaf' language so what's the problem of not talking to him!

Can't believe what I am seeing it!

When I got back home from University today. Suddenly, it was out of nowhere that demolition of a opposite next door building takes place now. It looks like another disaster area. I felt quite mixed between sad and happy because I felt every neighbours need to move on to see something exciting new housing project coming up soon. On the other side, It is sad to see old building which cover full of trees and hedges surrounded start to disappear......for good.

The Mystery of the Abandoned House

With both this street and the empty house surrounding it so densely populated you would think it is difficult to hide this abandoned house is an opposite where i lived. That is deserted and bit spooky at the same time. This is one such place where I went to explore for a while during the afternoon.

It is very close to Hillingdon Hospital, just down the road but this place was like a ghost town. Literally. I could sense my feeling that I have to walk towards to this house back garden and it is still mystery. It is like a natural disaster area. There was no barrier or locked, it was open- access for anybody can use this area for a while (unless you won't want police to get caught you red-handed!)

This house used to belong and lived by 'legend' Bernard to fought World Wars in the past. He used to love greeting local people every years and never stops. Once, when I and my brother was little and he used to telling us his past stories all the time! (By the way, he actually have bit of OCD about his BMW black car recently before he sent back to care home nearby.)

Once, I knew when I continued walking around the back garden and peek inside the house that what it looked like a kind of history 'ghost town' will never go away. I still have the feeling that it can't be disappear from his tales of his proud 'past' around his old home area.
